Founding Architect / Spatial Designer

Designing the first outpost and beyond

ASTRAEUS is seeking a founding architect or spatial designer to help define the physical language of the platform—beginning with the first outpost and expanding into future campuses and environments.

This role sits at the intersection of architecture, systems thinking, and experimental design.

You will work directly with the founder to translate high-level concepts into spatial reality—developing environments that support community, innovation, and future-focused work.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop the first ASTRAEUS outpost

  • Contribute to long-term campus and system planning

  • Explore modular, scalable, and experimental design approaches

  • Integrate labs, coworking, and public space into cohesive environments

  • Support visualization, rendering, and concept development

Ideal Background

  • Architecture or environmental design experience

  • Strong conceptual and technical skillset (Revit, Rhino, etc.)

  • Interest in space architecture, extreme environments, or future systems

  • Ability to work across concept and execution

Engagement

  • Contract or early-stage full-time

  • Growth into long-term leadership role
